-Day 1: Departure from Marrakech at 8:00. Crossing the Atlas Mountains. At the top of the pass, you leave the main road to reach the old kasbah Pacha Glaoui: From Telouet, you take a very small mountain road that offers a beautiful landscape between the small Berber village and a lush and opulent valley. Arrival at Ait Ben Haddou, the famous kasbah classified by UNESCO and location of many movies (lunch here, not included). Ouarzazate and the crossing of the Atlas Mountains in Agdz the beginning of the Draa Valley and its 3 million palm trees.
-Day 2: You drive along the Draa Valley. Contrast between the green valley and its wonderful garden around palm trees. Arrival in Zagora. After Zagora, an amazing village well known for its green pottery and an unforgettable Koranic library. Arrive for lunch at M’Hamid, the last village in the Draa Valley where the road ends to make way for the sand dunes. M’Hamid is the Mecca of the culture of the Sahara where the nomads, Berbers and Sahraoui agree. At the end of the road, you will take an unforgettable sand track between the dunes and the big plains to reach the dunes of chgaga. Night in the camp around the chimney and the desert of the blue men.
-Day 3: You leave the camp after a nice walk in the dunes for the sunrise. You cross the dunes and cross the dried lake of Iriqui which is the Mecca of the rally “Dakar”. You reach the road of Foum Zguid. Taznaght is the capital of southern carpets. Cross the Atlas Mountains to arrive in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.
